I'm back 💛 (with a new little sidekick)

Hi mama,

It's been a little quiet around here lately... for a very good reason. 💛

I had my baby!

Noah arrived on July 29th, and I've spent the last several weeks doing exactly what I encourage other moms to do postpartum:

Recover. Rest. Reconnect. And slowly rebuild.

And this time around has given me a whole new perspective.

My first postpartum recovery followed a C-section. This time, I'm recovering from a vaginal birth—and experiencing postpartum recovery through a completely different lens.

Over the past several weeks, I've been gradually adding things back in: breathing and pelvic floor work, gentle core rehab, walking, and small progressions as my body has been ready for them.

No rushing.

No "bouncing back."

Just meeting my body where it is and building from there.

I've also been documenting the process week by week in my Postpartum: From Recovery to Strength series, sharing the actual core and pelvic floor circuits I've been doing throughout my recovery.

This Wednesday, I'll be sharing Week 6—another small progression in rebuilding my core, pelvic floor, and overall strength.

Keep an eye on my social media Wednesday if you'd like to follow along. 💛

And here in the newsletter, I'll be going a little deeper.

Over the next several weeks, I'll be talking about postpartum core recovery, pelvic floor health, returning to strength training, nutrition, and some of the things I've learned going through postpartum recovery myself—twice, and in two very different ways.

I'm excited to have you along for it. 💛

💛 Remember...

Recovery isn't about rushing back to where you were. It's about rebuilding your strength from the inside out.

Hey mama, If there's one thing I've learned from working with postpartum women (and from my own recovery), it's this: Most moms aren't doing things "wrong." They're simply doing what they've been told. The problem? Much of the postpartum advice women receive is incredibly limited. You're often told: ✔ Rest. ✔ Don't lift anything heavier than your baby. ✔ Come back in 6 weeks. Then suddenly... "You're cleared for exercise!" But what does that actually mean? For many women, it leaves more...

Hey mama, One of the most common things I hear from women is: "But I'm not really postpartum anymore..." Maybe your baby is 6 months old. Maybe they're 3. Maybe they're starting kindergarten. And somewhere along the way, you accepted that the leaking, weak core, back discomfort, or feeling of being disconnected from your body was simply your new normal. But here's something important: Postpartum isn't an expiration date. There isn't a magical window where your opportunity to rebuild your...

Hey mama, Have you ever thought... "Why does my core still feel so weak? It's been months since I had my baby." Or maybe it's been years. You exercise. You're active. Maybe you've even been doing ab workouts. But something still doesn't feel quite right. Your stomach might dome during certain exercises. Your back gets tired easily. You struggle to feel your core working. Or everyday movements that used to feel effortless suddenly require more effort. Here's something I want you to know: Just...
